Both the Infant and the Junior schools prioritise a strong focus on the Arts and we are proud of the reputation that Malorees has earned for its work over the past forty years.
We encourage our children to express their individuality through a number of means, including popular Grand Finale displays in the Infant School to Class Assemblies in Juniors, both attended by parents.
We also have much-awaited and celebrated annual Arts Weeks.
As these two videos show, the children hugely enjoy the school plays through the year.
The Lyndon Arts Trust
Lyndons Arts Trust was founded in 1996 by a group of artists to promote arts in the community and support arts students. Lyndons has had its base at the Junior school since 2006, running workshops for both the school children and the wider community. It is a registered charity.
For more information on Lyndons please click here.
We work closely with our partner, the locally-based Drama Queens to offer children popular after-school and weekend classes.
Their approach is to grow confidence through creative opportunities which blend movement, text and song.
More information about Drama Queens can be found here.
There is also an after-school Media Club which focuses on developing children's art, computer skills and teamwork.
