Malorees 10km Team beat the weather

Our 10km fundraising team refused to let the cancellation of Sunday's London Winter Run get the better of them.

Several of the 28-strong team instead gave up their Saturday to beat the forecast freak weather and ran their own local event!

The team, led by Mr Cleary, saw Mr Goodwin, Ms Olivari, Ms Barroso, Ms Pelli, from the teacher team and parents Giles Deards, Kuba Wieczorek, Enrica Fedeli-Jacques, Malcolm Finn, Wendy Gribbon, Michelle Sirkett, Wenda Harrison met in Gladstone Park in windy weather to complete 10km.

The team helped to raise £2,268 for the school - thank you to everyone that sponsored our runners.

Mr Cleary showed the children a video of the run in Assembly, pointing out to the children that even when bad luck strikes it's still possible to make things happen - and to never give up!
