have fun with the London Winter Run or Blenheim Triathlon?
Fancy the great experience getting fitter with other (unfit) parents? Inspire the children? Raise some funds for the school at the same time (optional)?
We have two wonderful options.
Blenheim Palace Triathlon - June 2nd
It's not a full triathlon (this one is a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run - and there's a shorter option), it's in stunning grounds and you can do it at your own pace. There is also a children's fun event (with medals!).
It was an amazing experience the past two years and we have negotiated a discounted Group deal for both the half or quarter distances. We are also happy to invite friends and other charities to join us.
You pay a £50 deposit now and £50 in February and get a free swimming lesson, group PT and a Malorees team t-shirt designed by the children!
Most of the team from last year are signing up again and will train with you if you'd like to. You may recall this amazing video:
Please contact Giles Deards or Mr Cleary as soon as possible (email@example.com) please if you'd like more info.
We can also help with loans of wet suits or other equipment.
+ FREE ENTRY!
To encourage wide participation, the PSFA will discuss discounted entry if you pledge to raise sponsorship from friends outside of the school.
The London Winter Run - Sunday February 3rd
If half Triathlon training is too much we have a much gentler option, against another stunning backdrop.
We have also negotiated a discount available to 15 more runners. But the places must be taken by the end of December!
Ir's a wonderful laid-back run along closed streets around Embankment/St Paul's with no pressure on running any sort of fast time.
Malorees mum Lizzie72@yahoo.com is recruiting NOW and will offer two free group personal training sessions in Tiverton Park to anyone who signs-up.
The event will shortly sell-out but we have limited places for £32 (20% off) via the PSFA before the end of December. Again, the PSFA will cover fees in certain circumstances if enough sponsorship is raised from outside of the school.
