Junior School Curriculum
Curriculum Overview
The curriculum at Malorees Junior School is driven by the National Curriculum covering the subject areas below. We develop this framework to ensure that we promote a love of learning so that our children are inspired to achieve their best, and have the tools to be happy, successful and fulfilled in their future lives.
We believe that we will be more successful if we have a clear and shared approach to teaching and learning, underpinned by our core values-THRIVING.
Our principles underpinning high quality and teaching and learning are summarised in our Teaching and Learning Policy shared across both schools to strengthen continuity. Pupil progress is closely monitored, and children's individual aptitudes and talents are valued and encouraged across a range of curriculum and enrichment activities which includes vibrant themed weeks and residential experiences.
